Full Newsletter for 06-24-06 here. *10:18 pm - WE'VE GOT IT COVERED...ANYTHING ELSE AT THIS POINT WILL BE A LITTLE EXTRA TO HELP SYLVIA THROUGH A DIFFICULT TIME, so when you give, know this. I certainly do NOT have a problem with that.
NOTE: SEND TO TEXNOTARY@GMAIL.COM IF USING PAYPAL.COM IF SENDING A CHECK MY ADDRESS IS IN THE ARTICLE BELOW. This is a personal request from me to consider helping another notary. I thought long and hard about it before putting this in the newsletter. Please do not think bad of me, I believe that announcing this is the right thing to do. You'll just have to trust me if you send a donation. Thank you, Brenda. Update: I talked Sylvia Mease from Florida into letting me publish her name. I did not ask her before running this article. "Little Bit" is her dog and she's the one who is in desperate need of the surgery. PLEASE consider showing Sylvia your support and appreciation for her dedication and assistance to notaries by giving to this cause for Little Bit. Whether you send the contribution to me or to Sylvia does not matter. Just please give something for Little Bit's surgery. This has been very hard for Sylvia to do. Please consider that when you contribute something. See Sylvia's own words here
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: A notary dog which belongs to a notary (who must remain anonymous) is in need of surgery. This is going to cost $900-$1000. The notary does not have the money to do this due to extenuating circumstances. If only one half of my readers sent $5 that alone would raise $1000.00. Once the funds are raised I will announce via the newsletter mailing list that the funds have been raised. The checks must be mailed before July 10th in order to assist. If you send a donation, checks are preferred. Put "dog" in the memo. Please make the check payable to: Brenda Stone, and mail it to 2800 Longmire Drive, #7, College Station, Texas 77845. I will also take Paypal.com if you cannot mail a check. Send it to texnotary@gmail.com. Put "dog" in the memo. The dog is a three and a half year old yorkie, she has kidney stones, and will have to be put down if the money cannot be raised. I believe notaries will contribute a few dollars to save this pet. If I did not wholeheartedly believe this notary and if I did not have a deep conviction to attempt to assist, I would not put this information out there for you. Please forgive me for my sentimentality and please just ignore this page if you find this offensive. If you can contribute to this cause, and if you will trust me to manage the funds for you with no questions asked, and if you will trust me to get it to the dog, please forward a contribution to this cause me via check or via paypal.com. Anything you can give will be deeply appreciated by the dog's owner. The vet has declined to take payments, however, if just half of this could be raised to put toward the surgery, I feel that our efforts would become a moving reason for the vet to reconsider taking the rest of the payments from the notary on a monthly basis. Thank you. If you want to comment on this request, you may do so here. Sylvia's post on
